Hello and welcome to R4, officially! Last post I showed you a little bit of my changes to Pleasantview and talked about a few plans I have. I kind of play by the seat of my pants and only sometimes will I plan a match from birth onwards and what nots. This rotation some heirs will probably be decided so that they can begin preparing for their life as an official legacy founder. Some I have already decided upon and will probably just share the news. I’ve also decided that all the teens that were born in R1(& maybe R2) must either go into college now or forever lose their chance. Four rotations after birth seem to be a good cut off age for that decision so I can keep my brain from exploding and also keep the timing somewhat organized. I think I’ll have to get a mod to shorten college so that I can do two years at a time because everyone in college has missed almost an entire lifetime outside of college.
Langerak
Last time Kaylynn had another child by Don Lothario, named Krystal Langerak. Personally, I am kind of leaning toward her being my primary heiress to start the official Langerak legacy with, but that all depends. The family adopted a kitten named Bonkers and Kaylynn took a job in law enforcement.
With her new job I figured it was time to move the family of six out of the small condo and into a cute little premade house. Bonkers aged into a full grown cat shortly after they moved in and after school Kaylynn’s five kids had fun with the playground she had installed for them. The next day it was Berjes’ birthday into a teenager, he aged into being a Fortune Sim, he is also a Gemini.
Kaylynn hired a maid, which I personally find a little ironic. Heidee has had horrible grades for a while and her mother has really been on her to fix it. One evening Kaylynn went out on a date with Richard Oldie and after a photo booth woohoo she was beaten by the purse of Mrs Crumplebottom. He later left her a very large TV.
Heidee aged into a teen and the apartments were finally finished. The condos that Kaylynn and her family used to live in were slowly being demolished. Heidee finally got an A! Kaylynn took some friends out dancing after work one evening but she actually had larger plans for the night. She split from the group, dropped Berjes off at home, and went on her way.
She went down to the fortune teller’s shop (where there were a few bars placed for mixers, of course) and scoped out the prospects. She saw someone she liked, Christopher, and managed to strike up a conversation. She went home after making a new friend and never having to go into the crystal ball room. Kaylynn has a fear that keeps coming- to grow old unmarried. An old maid, if you will.
Everything is pretty much the same with the kids, they’re all very close. Krystal’s birthday was on Saturday evening and she grew up into a lovely teen. She grew into a Romance aspiration, she’s a Libra, and with all of Kaylynn’s children as teenagers I decided to roll a die for who will begin the official Langerak Legacy when they reach adulthood, the order being birth (Brayson, Hollee, Berjes, Heidee, Krystal, 6 Reroll).
I rolled two sixes in a row and then a 4. So it looks like, unless anything happens, Heidee is the Langerak Heiress. I rolled again for spare and got a 5. Krystal will take over if anything should happen to Heidee before she reproduces.
Lothario / Goth
Last week the oldest of the Lothario children, the 3 triplets, moved out. Cassandra then had boy girl twins, Skylar and Devin. Cassandra has stopped working and Angel is a teenager now.
Very soon after loading Cassandra popped, I expected it to happen later, so I was quite surprised. Angel Lothario is a Family sim and a Sagittarius, previously mentioned, he enjoys nature and creativity, and his LTW currently is to have 6 grandchildren. One evening Don decided to lure a fireman to the house, surely it had to have been planned as he was dressed to impress when she arrived to save his life. Naturally she needed to be properly thanked.
Cassandra had plenty of time to be a mom to the twins though she was very tired most days. Since she was pregnant and due quite soon it was decided to have an impromptu birthday for Skylar and Devin. There was yet another fire in the house. It seems almost like Mortimer is cursed to be followed by fire. The firemen came again, and again the family was let off with a warning. However, shortly after the fire the local Gypsy Matchmaker came to drop off a gift.
Cassandra gave birth to a little girl, Don’s 10th child, Maria. She then rolled the want to make a wish so I had her wish for a long life. She visited with Darren a little bit during the day and Don came home with a promotion to Chief of Staff thanks to a chance card.
Due to the promotion the Lothario’s threw one of their parties. Cassandra sent out the invites and Mary-Sue Pleasant was there as well as Richard Oldie. Sometime during the party, with not so much as a tiny zoom, Mortimer died. The family got notice of his insurance policy and I had to hunt for his urn. My instant urge was to resurrect him with the lamp, I adore him and didn’t want him to go, but I waited- I waited to see if Cassandra would have the want.
The rest of the evening went on and she went off to bed but woke up at near 3 in the morning. At the stroke of three she was rubbing the lamp and making her wish. Morty has returned with his aging at the start of his elder years and I have no regrets. He did some yoga and then went to tend to Maria.
Life went on and Cassandra eventually popped. Don’s birthday into an elder came and went and my timing was just short of getting him to the cake. He took Maria to the cake and then instantly became a thousand more times attached to her and has since wanted to teach her all of her skills.
Luis and Antonio aged into teens, they are the sons of Darren Dreamer. Luis Lothario is a Family sim like his mom (which makes sense why he gets handed the baby later), and a Scorpio. He likes Fitness. Antonio Lothario is a Knowledge sim, like his father (if I remember right), and he likes Tinkering. Later on, right on the verge of sunrise, Don knocked those babies out of Cassandra. With bright blue eyes like that it’s obvious that Darren has more children. The baby Luis is holding is named Andreas Lothario, and is male, the baby Cassandra is holding is named Francesca Lothario and is female.
Tragedy was persistent this rotation and Antonio perished and the third fire this week. I’ll admit, I did delete the fire alarm because after the first two, come what may, let the chaos ensue. Since it was quite close to the end of the rotation I just waited and decided they would moved out of the cursed manor for R5. Since Don is an elder I put all of his legitimate children with Cassandra into a random list-randomizer to pick the heir and spare. Samantha Lothario is our heiress, with the spare being Skylar Lothario. I enjoy that they are both female, and I’m glad they both begin with S.
Pleasant
Last time, to spice up their elder marriage, Daniel moved in the maid and a lovely living arrangement was set up with Mary-Sue and Jasmyn. Victoria and Caroline had just aged into teens before we had left. If they decide, after this rotation they may attend college or they can wait another rotation.
With their parents sorting out their own golden years, the twins were left to make their life as golden as they wanted. That did include entertaining the headmaster and getting into private school. Meanwhile, Mary-Sue was still coming around to the idea of Jasmyn.
Daniel was pretty much living his days out with pure enjoyment and Jasmyn was a loving help to the family. The girls were thriving with their new school. Honestly, though, we all knew it was only a matter of time with Jasmyn running around with Daniel.
Pregnancy befell Jasmyn about halfway through the rotation. When Daniel came home from work I had planned a date out for him and Mary-Sue that would start at home and end with dinner, but very early on an unwanted visitor came to the house. Everyone, even Jasmyn, has been distraught. Both Jasmyn and Mary-Sue want to resurrect Daniel but unless a genie lamp gets delivered to one of them soon I don’t see it happening. It’s been decided that Mary-Sue, though she’s fond of Jasmyn, is done raising children and after Jasmyn has her baby she and her offspring will be moving out.
Mary-Sue spent a lot of time with the piano and juice. Late in the week Jasmyn gave birth to the only thing Daniel could seem to make: twin girls. She named them Tasha, and Jada (in the photo she’s holding Jada). Very shortly after the birth the Pleasant family and the Seiff family split apart. Mary-Sue has seemed to heal the best she could while dealing with the mess Daniel left behind, she no longer wishes to resurrect him. She and her girls live a pretty regular life. I think I may go ahead and take these Pleasant twins into college at the end of this rotation since their older sisters will be leaving college shortly.
My preferred, and story heiress, is Angela. I have left Lilith out of the running because she’s going Goth, I’m fairly sure. When I random-rolled for a spare I got Caroline.
